Gingham Challenge at Moxie Fab World

I made another PTI tag recently for Mother's day, and the idea came to me simply from some gorgeous red gingham ribbon I had on hand... (the rest kinda flowed from there)...

As you would have it, Moxie Fab World was holding a Gingham Challenge.!

So here's my little gingham Mother's day number now entered into the challenge.

Of course, since the colours and the retro-bird (SU bird punch) and PTI gingham stamp made me chirpy happy, [enter groan re: sad pun] I made about ten others, but without the "mum" stamped on it!

So now, everyone's birthday presents are going to have a red and white gingham theme...

Ok, maybe not Dad's! I'm not sure he'd appreciate it...

Mother's Day

I know that all these designated days to celebrate things are far too commercial etc but it does hopefully make people stop and appreciate those people in their lives that can sometimes be taken for granted.. Like mums. There all the time to listen, to consol, to support, to drive you nuts or all of the above! :)

So here's to mums, wherever they may be - here to hug or no longer with us, but nonetheless in our hearts forever... Happy Mothers Day peeps!

Mobile Blogger Test Run

I have been bummed that I can't upload my photos onto blogger using my iPad to date, so I'm giving the app a go..!

Here's one of the cards I recently made for mother's day... I'm really happy with the graduated colour, this might be a go for a multi pack perhaps?
